Sunday in parking lot with Anthony

I'm sitting in the dark waiting for James to come out of Life Teen. Boerne is such a nice little town. This church is great, too. The people are very welcoming and the youth group is awesome. I've even managed to drag Anthony back to church!! Picture me amazed and thankful.

The darkness is awesome. I can see the stars out here.

Sunday lunch at Sam's

So I'm sittin' here in Sam's Club waiting for them to put tires on Anthony's truck. I'm always fascinated by the people who come in here to eat. It's like they make it family meal time in Sam's. They do all the shopping, make their purchases then, before exiting, they all sit at these little picnic tables and have pizza or hot dogs and cokes. I think we did it once at Costco but it was me, Mom and Marissa. We then bought a pizza to take home to the boys. Some of these people have come straight from church, too. I'm surrounded by kids and parents and one or two older couples eating Sunday lunch at Sam's. People watching at its finest.

Sofia's Visit

She came to visit us at Christmas time...with her handlers in attendance.

Spurs vs. Denver Nuggets

These were taken back in November when my cousin, Gracie Lopez, who is a teacher in the Dallas area, and her teacher friend, Susan, came down to see a Spurs game. They were actually here to see Kenyon Martin of the Denver Nuggets.

It seems they had him as a student at their school and have kept up with him as he travels around the country.

I got to meet him this time. He's a very nice man but incredibly tall.

Dona got to meet Chauncey Billups. He's a great guy, too. This was a fun evening.
